Carola Altamura spent her childhood between Milano and Puglia, both of which formed her aesthetic deeply inspired by clean design, intense nature and the ancestral beauty of that magical land at the end of Italy. Since she started working as an interior architect, her sincere desire is to create cosy places where people always feel at home. In 2015 Carola merged her passion for interiors and hospitality into her own business renovating the family's trulli in Ostuni into a charming retreat for aware travellers, Trulli La Pietraia. Today Carola launches Carola fra i Trulli, a line of one-of-a-kind candles and diffusers pairing her love for design, Apulian craftsmanship and fine home fragrances.
Inspired by the iconic shape of the Itria Valley trulli, designed by Carola Altamura, handmade by the master potter Franco Fasano in Grottaglie.
Each Trullo is produced in a limited edition, entirely handcrafted in Italy and numbered to guarantee its craftsmanship and uniqueness.
