Founded in 2003 in Cali by Johanna Ortiz, the house draws on the landscape and craft traditions of Colombia, shaping them into a vision of femininity that is both exuberant and assured. Its signatures are well established: sweeping ruffles, off-the-shoulder necklines and lush botanical prints, cut into fluid silhouettes that move with ease. For summer, the Magdalena collection takes its name from the river that runs through the country, reimagining native flora in earthy and tropical tones across silk, jacquard and fine beadwork. Each piece is made in Colombia alongside indigenous communities and artisanal workshops, so its heritage is carried in the making as much as the design.
